When you fill out our consultation request form or our website chat assistant's lead capture form, we may collect:

- The transcript of your chat conversation (if you submit a form through the chat assistant)

Our AI Chat Assistant
Important — Please Read
Our website includes an AI-powered chat assistant to help answer your questions about our services. This tool is powered by Anthropic's Claude API. By using the chat feature, you acknowledge that your messages are sent to Anthropic's servers for processing.
What data is processed
- The text of your chat messages is sent to Anthropic's API in real time to generate a response.
- Anthropic may retain API inputs and outputs for a limited period in accordance with their own privacy policy. We recommend reviewing Anthropic's Privacy Policy for details.
- We do not store your chat messages on our own servers.
Lead capture through the chat
If you voluntarily choose to submit your contact information through the chat assistant's consultation request form, we receive your name, phone number, email address, a description of your needs, and a transcript of your chat conversation. This information is delivered to us via Formspree (see Section 5) and used only to follow up on your inquiry.
Sensitive information
Please do not share sensitive personal information through the chat assistant, such as financial account details, Social Insurance Numbers, health records, or passwords. The chat assistant is designed to answer questions about our services and help you book a consultation — nothing more.
Third-Party Services
We use a small number of trusted third-party tools to operate our website and handle inquiries. Each operates under its own privacy policy.
Formspree
Handles the delivery of consultation request forms submitted through our website and chat assistant. Formspree receives your form data and forwards it to our inbox. View their Privacy Policy.
Anthropic (Claude API)
Powers our AI chat assistant. Chat messages are transmitted to Anthropic for processing. View their Privacy Policy.
Google Fonts
We load our website fonts from Google Fonts. Your IP address may be transmitted to Google's servers to serve the font files. View Google's Privacy Policy.
Data Retention
We retain contact and inquiry information for as long as necessary to provide you with our services and maintain reasonable business records. If you request that we delete your information, we will do so unless we are required to retain it by law (for example, for tax or accounting purposes).
Chat messages processed through the AI assistant are not stored by Get Started Home Services beyond the duration of your browser session. The chat history lives only in your browser's memory and is cleared when you close or refresh the page.
Your Rights
Under PIPEDA and BC's PIPA, you have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information
- Withdrawal of consent — withdraw consent for us to contact you at any time
- Deletion — request that we delete your personal information, subject to legal obligations
